How to use Bid Requests

Bid Requests Overview

Finding quality people and companies you can trust to do a job right is a job in itself!   Peoplemovers has created Bid Requests to connect quality people, organizations, businesses and governments so they can use their time and financial resources more effectively.  In this way, the economic health of communities is strengthened which improves the overall health of every other facet of life!


How It Works
  1. From the “Marketplace” Navigation Bar Link or from My Profile, click on “Bid Requests” and then “Add”.
  2. Choose the Community 2.0™ Website you belong to that you want this post to originate from in “Under” (only available when on Peoplemovers.com Community).
  3. Choose the level of privacy.  If you want this post to be broadcast across all communities that follow you, you must choose “Visible to All”.
  4. Choose a “Current Status” (“Open” if still needed and “Closed” if the product or service is no longer needed).
  5. Upload a photo or image that shows what you need or need done.  If nothing is selected, your profile photo will show.  Please use jpeg format.
  6. Create a Name for your Bid Requests post and a Short Description.
  7. Choose a Type, Industry Category and the Community Topic (what’s this) that this post most closely relates to.
  8. If you would like to link this post to a Photo Gallery where people can see more photos, you can create one or link to an existing one.
  9. Enter the Location Name, Address, City, Country, State and Zip Code where the job is located or organizations can contact you (if applicable).
  10. Enter your Contact Name, Phone, Fax, Email and Website link if applicable.
  11. Type or copy and paste more Description information you want to share.  Give enough information so others will be knowledgeable about what you need and your requirements.
  12. Click Save!

Tips for Use
  • Make sure you “Share” your post with all of your friends and groups and “Broadcast Online” to your favorite social media sites.  This will increase your visibility and draw more people to your profile and/or Community 2.0™ Website.
  • The more Friends you have and the more activity you have in the community, the more potential companies will “take care of you” (and not risk messing around).  Get involved!
  • Non-profits, churches, associations and governments can promote Marketplace as a powerful way to support the people and businesses that support them.
  • Ask other organizations with Community 2.0™ Websites to follow you so your posts can instantly reach their people and organizations.
