Awards Overview
We all like to be recognized for the things we do. “Awards” allows your organization, business or government to quickly and cost-effectively create endless ways to say “Thank You!”, “Great Job!” and “You’re the Best!” to those in your community. Whether recognizing special volunteers, or the best businesses, restaurants, organizations, employees, schools or students, Awards can be a powerful way for people to be appreciated. And with “Follow”, you’ll be able to spread the word on your awards to thousands of people, organizations and communities in the Peoplemovers Community Network.
How It Works

From the “Make a Difference” Navigation Bar Link or from My Profile, click on “Awards” and then “Add”.

Choose the Community 2.0™ Website you belong to that you want this post to originate from in “Under” (only available when on Peoplemovers.com Community).

Choose the level of privacy. If you want this post to be broadcast across all communities that follow you, you must choose “Visible to All”.

Create an Award Name and a Short Description.

Upload a photo or graphic that has been created for the Award. Please use jpeg format.

Choose the Community Topic (what’s this) that this Award most closely relates to.

If you have created an Initiative (what’s this), you can link your Award to it which will create more postings throughout the website and network!

If you are accepting nominations for this Award from other Peoplemovers Community Network users, enter the Start and End Date for nominations.

Enter the date you will be giving the Award.

Enter the Award Contact Name with his or her contact info.

If you want to link to another website, include entire web address in Website Link.

People and groups can “Apply for Award” online using this post. However, if you’d like to link to another nomination system and disable this feature of Peoplemovers.com, copy and paste the entire website link they should go to.

Type or copy and paste more Award Description information you want to share.

Click Save!
Tips for Use

Make sure you “Share” your Award with all of your friends and groups and “Broadcast Online” to your favorite social media sites. This will increase your visibility and draw more people to your Community 2.0™ Website.

“Share” the Awards with those you want to specially apply and recognize.

Create Awards for all of your “Best of . . .” contests.

Create Awards for your different levels of supporters.

Create Awards for your employees and volunteers.

Ask other organizations with Community 2.0™ Websites to follow you so your Event posts can instantly reach their people and organizations.
